Catholic Engaged Encounter of New Orleans

Catholic Engaged Encounter of New Orleans is comprised of married couples and priests who volunteer their time and talents to share the gift of marriage with engaged couples over the course of a weekend retreat. We strive to give the best marriage preparation in the short 48 hours we share with the engaged couples.  The retreat includes the married couples and priests sharing important information and their experiences on a wide variety of topic related to marriage including understanding ourselves and each other, communication, sacrament, forgiveness and bringing God into our relationship.  For each topic, the couples are given guided discussion questions and time to share on their own then with each other.  The weekend retreat includes time for prayer, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the Holy Eucharist. Many engaged couples have shared with us that they have experienced a new understanding of relationship, the Sacrament they become, and how they have grown closer to each other and to God. 

New Orleans Catholic Engaged Encounter is a member of a national and international association of Diocesan based groups that aid in marriage preparation in all areas of the world including North, South and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
