Office of Deacon Formation & Continuing Education

Over the next 5 years, approximately half of our 65 active deacons will retire, making the success of the Deacon Formation Program vital to the overall future success of our Diocese.

Now in it's second year, the Deacon Formation Program continues with 28 men already in formation! When we initially budgeted for this program, we only planned on having 10 men. While we are extremely blessed to have more men than we original budgeted for, we need some financial assistance to continue to provide the education and spiritual formation necessary to prepare these additional men for the ministry of a deacon. Your generous donation allows us to prepare our deacons for that call through the four-year Deacon Formation Program.
