Office of Evangelization & Family Faith Formation

Our story is looking forward to look back. It is of support, meetings, sharing, encouraging, reminding, and gathering. It is about road trips and listening, availability and modeling, standing on the shoulders of giants and searching out new and creative ways to call, to witness, to proclaim Jesus. Our story: Evangelization and Family Faith Formation.

The biggest misconception of our division is that we will, at some point, have a finished product. Our vision is Heaven, and our success rate is unknown. 2024 holds gatherings with those who will lead the multi-levels of faith formation. Our title is deliberate. We are charged to tend to the whole family as no one is finished with their relationship with Jesus until they behold Him face to face. Prayerfully, the time spent on producing the Whole Family Faith Formation to inspire families to continue working on their Domestic (Home) Church will continue to bear fruit. Faith practiced and witnessed in the home speaks volumes compared to thirty hours of classroom faith formation.

Traveling to different Deaneries to share the Confirmation curriculum.  Workshop presentations will focus on creative styles of instruction so that faith formation is not viewed as just another class among so many classes of our school-age population.  

2024 will include speakers like Denise Utter in April leading our catechists in Engaging Every Family. November 2, 2024, will culminate in pondering what it means to be a people of faith in spirit, soul, and body.
