Omaha Catholic Engaged Encounter

Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) is an international organization formed to support the vocation of marriage through formative retreats for engaged couples. The Omaha chapter hosts four retreat weekends per year at the St. Benedict Center in Schuyler, NE. The retreats feature encouraging, vulnerable, and real-world presentations by two married couples and a priest. After each talk, participants have time to write and reflect individually on a wide range of topics pertinent to a fruitful, Christ-centered married life, including forgiveness, intimacy, finances, managing conflict, and many others.  Engaged couples have time alone together to dialogue honestly and intensively about their prospective future life. Those who volunteer with Engaged Encounter are passionate about assisting others in having healthy, lasting marriages in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. The Omaha CEE chapter is looking for funding to help assist with team costs on the weekends, administrative fees, and outreach.
