Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church

Evangelization and outreach are hallmarks of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. As we look to the future, so that we can continue and expand these offerings, the need for a properly designed, fully mobile kitchen has been identified as a need for our community of faith. The cost is $175,000.

Based on the success of the 2025 Lenten Fish Fry which served on average 317 meals. We know that this number has increased from prior years – all out of a small, outdoor kitchen. And over the last seven years, these Fish Frys have raised over $100,000 to help fund our parish’s Youth Ministry as well as assist others who are in need.

A mobile kitchen will offer the Men’s Club, the Ladies Guild, and other OLGC groups and ministries the opportunity to sponsor additional family-style events throughout the year. And being a mobile kitchen, it will provide the greatest flexibility for years to come.

As we complete the first phase of our $4 million Capital Campaign, the renovation of our worship center has proved to offer a renewed spiritual and liturgical environment for the celebration of Sunday and weekday Masses. 

Your support of this mobile kitchen project will allow our parish to continue to evangelize our neighbors and provide funds for outreach to the poor and needy. This addition will certainly complement the recent changes funded by our parish’s Capital Campaign.
