Our Lady of the Angels

        Our Lady of the Angels Parish is a welcoming place of worship and friendship. Through work, play, and prayer, our parish offers guidance, education, and service both to our local community of Cape May Court House, NJ and to the Diocese of Camden at large. We are a teaching community, lovingly sharing our faith in Jesus Christ through instruction, action towards social justice, youth ministry, and overall Christian service to children and adults.  

       Our Lady of the Angels Parish offers a wide variety of ministries designed to serve both the spiritual and physical needs of everyone we encounter, always looking to serve God by loving our neighbor.  Examples of missionary discipleship at Our Lady of the Angels Parish includes a beautiful church and chapel built in 1994 to meet the spiritual needs of our Catholic community. Our Food Pantry Ministry at OLA provides nutritious food to those in need in our local community, along with genuine love and compassion to all who are served without discrimination.  During the growing season, Our Lady of the Angels maintains a “Mercy Garden” which plays a vital role in providing fresh and healthy produce to augment the offerings of our Food Pantry.  The Mercy Garden is lovingly tended by our own parishioners who plant, grow, water, and harvest the garden throughout the growing season.  

       Our garden also offers a beautiful grotto, which is the featured project for the 2025 “I Give Catholic” fundraiser. The Grotto at Our Lady of the Angels features a lovely garden setting in which parishioners can pray and meditate, with special attention and devotion through statuary to Our Blessed Mother, to her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the Holy Family. The plants and statues in our Grotto represent both prior purchases by the Church as well as donations by friends and families of Our Lady of the Angels Parish. Over time, and through the typical weather events common to any garden, many of our statues are in need of repair and professional cleaning and it is time to upgrade and/or replace our many plantings in the garden.

       As you donate to "I Give Catholic" this year, please know that your donations will be used to preserve, upgrade, restore and repair this welcoming sanctuary nestled alongside the church building, offering a quiet place to sit and pray in the midst of nature’s beauty for years to come.
