As you know, the rectory has been home to pastors long before Hurricane Ida. 

OH, Ida, she came in here like a guest who didn’t ask permission, didn’t behave herself, and certainly didn’t clean up after she left! We’ve been putting the pieces back together ever since, and slowly but surely… praise God… we are getting there.

The floors in the rectory have carried a lot—mud, boots, construction dust, and more memories than I care to recount. They’ve served us well, but it’s time to finish this job and take the rectory from good to GREAT.

And that’s where you come in.

Our Giving Tuesday goal is $25,000, and every bit of it will go directly to replacing the rectory floors. This is one of the last major pieces of the puzzle. When we put these new floors in, it’s not just about making the rectory look good—it’s about completing a long, hard journey after Ida. It’s about honoring the work you’ve already supported. And it’s about building a home that can keep serving this parish, this community, and the priests who will come after me.

I want to thank all of you who have stood with us through every single hurdle. You have helped us rebuild our church, our facilities, and our spirit. And today, I’m inviting you to help push us across this final finish line.

Let’s do this. Let’s finish these floors. Let’s take this rectory from good to great.

And let’s finally put Hurricane Ida in the rear-view mirror where she belongs.
