Our Lady of the Lake LifeTeen

Our Lady of the Lake LifeTeen serves students in grades 8–12 by offering more than just religious education—we strive to create a place where teens can truly encounter the living Christ. With over 100 students currently registered, our ministry is vibrant, growing, and deeply committed to walking with young people on their journey of faith.

Each week, our LifeTeen gatherings invite teens into prayer, community, Scripture, and discipleship. We begin by providing dinner for all of our students, creating a welcoming environment where they can relax, connect with peers, and feel at home in their parish community. These meals play a vital role in building relationships and helping our teens know they are seen, valued, and cared for - there is something truly special abut breaking bread together. 

Beyond our weekly ministry, transformative experiences like NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference) , DYC (South Carolina Diocesan Youth Conference), Steubenville Youth Conferences, and other retreats allow teens to step away from the noise of daily life and see their faith come alive in powerful new ways. These encounters often spark deeper conversions, stronger friendships, and a lasting desire to serve Christ and His Church.

We are also blessed to offer a Senior Trip, which honors the dedication of our graduating teens who have given their time, talents, and leadership to our parish throughout their years in LifeTeen. It is a meaningful way to celebrate their growth, express our gratitude, and send them forward with encouragement and prayer.
