Our Lady of the Lake Parish

Our Lady of the Lake Parish serves the Catholic families in the Edinboro, Cambridge Springs and Saegertown PA communities through providing for Worship, Word, Community and Service.  In 2024, Saint Anthony of Padua Parish and its mission, Saint Bernadette Church were merged into Our Lady of the Lake Parish.  With that change, we have become a stronger community of faith.  As a parish, our goal is to provide pastoral support for those who seek Jesus Christ within our area by sharing our ancient Catholic Faith.

We also serve the greater community through a wonderful ministry of our parish over the past 30 years, Thrifty Threads Store.  Located in the former Our Lady of the Lake Church on our parish campus, we sell gently used goods provided by local families and friends.  Their generosity ultimately provides funds for needy persons and organizations.  This ministry reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church by providing for those locally, regionally, and globally who need our support.

For this Erie-Gives 2025, our "ask" is directed to people of good will to assist us in providing funding to help re-roof our Thrift Store, along with providing for other necessary exterior repairs.  Since we are consistently asking parish families for their support, we want to make a special effort to ask our neighbors, former parishioners and friends from all over the United States to "make a return" by helping us to attend to our thrift store building so that our outreach efforts can continue in a safe and maintained building for many years to come.

To those who were Baptized, given First Eucharist, Confirmed, Married or Buried from the old church, now is your opportunity to remember the great gift given to you and consider paying it forward as a way to say, "Thank You." 

On behalf of our patrons and volunteers who depend on a safe DRY space to display so many types of donated goods which ultimately help others, Thank you in advance for your financial and prayerful support.  It means the world to the parish and our greater community of friends in the greater Edinboro Pennsylvania area.

The Mission of Our Lady of the Lake Parish is to make Christ and His Church the Living reality of all people subject to our influence, to bring them together in community, and to share Christ in faith, hope, and love under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through the ministry of the Catholic Church.
