Our Lady of the Lake Parish

Our Lady of the Lake Parish serves the Catholic families in the Edinboro, Cambridge Springs and Saegertown PA communities by providing for Worship, Word, Community and Service.  As a parish, our goal is to provide pastoral support for those who seek Jesus Christ within our area by sharing our ancient Catholic Faith.

This year's campaign is very practical.  We recently discovered that unfortunately, two of our heating units at Our Lady of the Lake Church are not operating properly and have come to their "end of life."    Additionally, the parish office, which has never had central air conditioning, has been using 4 A/C window units that each draw a lot of electricity.   We hope to add an Air Conditioning unit to the existing heating unit to provide better cooling in the summer at a lower cost.

The challenge that many churches face is that projects such as these, while practical, do not inspire donors.  Yet, without climate control, prayer or work can become difficult.  With your help and the help of other supporters, we can address these issues in short order.  Your gift to Our Lady of the Lake Parish does more than provide heating and cooling... it says you believe in our mission to serve God and our neighbor, as noted below.

Who We Are

The Mission of Our Lady of the Lake Parish is to make Christ and His Church the Living reality of all people subject to our influence, to bring them together in community, and to share Christ in faith, hope, and love under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through the ministry of the Catholic Church.

We are known throughout our area for Thrifty Threads Thrift Store.  We accept donations 24/7, and open our doors on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.  Proceeds are gifted to requesters living in the General McLane and Penncrest School Districts.
