Our Lady of Perpetual Help School (Kenner)

Our Of Perpetual Help in Kenner is embarking on an ambitious mission to enhance math and science education. Students are actively engaged in a competitive STEM program on campus, where they learn to code, program, and build robotics kits. This program improves their knowledge of science and mathematics and equips them with practical skills in real-world solutions and applications.

Moreover, our students are not alone in this journey. They engage in friendly competition with peers from across the region in LEGO and VEX competitions, often emerging as winners and bringing pride to our school. This fosters a sense of camaraderie and shared learning, enhancing their ability to work in groups and solve problems, a crucial skill in today's world. They acquire these skills through a blend of classroom lectures, hands-on lab work, and group projects in which they build kits, code, and design robots. 

At the heart of our program is the 1881 Engineering group, whose experts work hand in hand with our students. Their presence not only motivates our students but also imparts invaluable problem-solving techniques. As a result, our students not only learn engineering mechanics but also develop a fundamental understanding of how things work to solve real-world problems through math.  Students work in a state-of-the-art lab with LEGO and VEX STEM Kits, as well as a 3-D printer, to design and print 3-D models under the guidance of these esteemed professionals, ensuring the highest quality of education. 

However, to continue and expand this impactful program, we need your financial support. A donation will allow us to extend this program to our 3rd-4th grade students, ensuring that more young minds are equipped with the skills to develop real-world solutions for generations to come.
