ADW - Community Food Security Program

A nonprofit organization

No one should ever have to endure hunger, especially during these challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. With school closures, job disruptions, and health risks, many Americans have relied on food banks for essential support. Before the pandemic, 64 parishes and multiple schools within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington were serving over 7,500 individuals per week at a monthly cost exceeding $92,000. However, since the pandemic's onset, an additional four parishes have established food pantries, resulting in over 20,000 people served monthly at an estimated cost exceeding $250,000.

Your contributions to the Community Food Security Program are instrumental in restocking parish and school food pantries and sustaining newly established ones where the demand has surged significantly this year. We deeply appreciate your support in ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.

Thank you for your support!
