Roman Robichaux Foundation was started to honor Roman Robichaux. Roman was a witness to our Catholic faith. He exemplified our Catholic values, morals and virtues, such as humility, temperance, and fortitude. Despite being 15 years old when he passed, spiritual insight exceeded his years. He cherished his connection with God and yearned for others to experience that same devotion. Roman's reputation as the "Fisher of Men" emerged as he found deep joy in his cherished pastime of being with his family and fishing, paralleling this by guiding people toward God's embrace. He was an extraordinary child of God. Please help us to continue to be messengers of God like Roman and help build a foundation of young virtuous leaders to Christ.
In partnership with the Catholic Foundation, we started the Roman Robichaux Virtue Award to honor students within out Catholic Schools and Church Parishes who truly live a virtuous life both in the classroom and throughout all aspects of life. Each year the Roman Robichaux Foundation and the Catholic Foundation will honor one student in grades 8-12 and one student in grades 1-7 with the Roman Robichaux Virtue Award to assist with tuition assistance or their religious formation at their parish. Each year our schools celebrate academics and athletics, and we are excited to partner together to celebrate those students who truly live and breathe their faith.
This year, we honored Riley Dufrene and Evan Adams.
Your gift to the Roman Robichaux Virtue Award will go directly to support the students selected as living a virtuous life each year.
