With your support and generosity, Sacred Heart Parish continues to creatively and courageously deliver quality Catholic education to the children of our North County community — now across two vibrant campuses!

In 2023, Sacred Heart Parish welcomed the communities of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta and St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, forming one faith-filled parish family. Together, we are blessed with new faces, new energy, and renewed purpose to bring Jesus to an even broader community.

The rich traditions of our parish have always been strengthened by our mission to provide a Christ-centered elementary education to all who seek it.

Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne, a true pioneer in Catholic education, ministered to children just down the street from Sacred Heart Parish — at what is now the Old St. Ferdinand Shrine. We honor her legacy by continuing this sacred mission through our two elementary schools, serving more than 600 students from Preschool through 8th grade.

We are not bound by the past, but emboldened by it.

With more than 150 years at Sacred Heart and over 100 years at our Blessed Teresa campus, we are building upon our strong foundation through new methods, collaborations, and passion to sustain our schools and expand their impact.

This year, our Giving Tuesday appeal focuses on strengthening our elementary educational ministries.
