We are extremely proud of our school that has provided a strong Catholic foundation for almost 150 years to generations of families in Old Town Florissant. We are a wonderful collection of people committed to educational success.

With your support and generosity our Sacred Heart Parish is creatively and courageously

delivering quality Catholic education to the children in our North County community at two campuses!

In 2023, Sacred Heart Parish welcomed the communities of

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta and St. Rose Philippine Duchesne

to create a new, larger parish community.    

Our community is now blessed with new faces,

new energy and new drive to bring Jesus to our broader community.   

The rich traditions of our church have long been enhanced and fortified

by our mission to provide a Christ-centered

elementary education to all who seek it.   

Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne was a pioneering force in Catholic education

who ministered to children right down the street from Sacred Heart Parish

at what is now the Old St. Ferdinand Shrine.

Our parish embraces this mission by supporting two elementary schools

with over 600 students in Preschool through 8th grade.

 

We are not bound by the past, but emboldened by it. 

With over 150 years at Sacred Heart and over 100 years at our Blessed Teresa campus,

we are seeking new methods, new collaborations and new passion to sustain our two school campuses.

This year our Giving Tuesday appeal is focused on supporting our elementary educational ministries.
