We’ve launched From Silence to Support: Suicide Prevention and Education for Clergy and Religious — the first program of its kind in the nation. Every day, priests, brothers, and sisters carry the burdens of others while often suffering in silence themselves. We can no longer wait to act.

Recent data paints a heartbreaking picture:

• 71% of respondents believe clergy and religious are reluctant to report changes in their mental health.

• 41% of dioceses have experienced the suicide of a member of the clergy.

• 74% said they are ready and eager to learn how to recognize and respond to suicidal behaviors.

This ministry is changing that reality - but only if we can reach every diocese and religious community. We’ve raised $450,000 of the $500,000 needed to fully fund this three-year program.
