Saint Joseph Charleston Youth Ministry

We are Saint Joseph's Catholic Church Youth Ministry in Charleston, South Carolina!

Our Youth Minister, Molly Pereda, is in charge of Youth Ministry and Religious Education for the parish! We are only in our Fifth Year of youth ministry at St. Joseph's, and we have our largest group of high schoolers ever this year! We have a high school youth group and a middle school youth group. We also take the youth on Diocesan Retreats, plan events for the Charleston youth, and participate in Life Teen Camps in Georgia.

Our youth ministry program is still starting out and growing, and we would love your support to get these teens opportunities to go on these retreats and events! We appreciate any help you can give!

IGiveCatholic Specifics

$2,000.00-Will cover Five hotel rooms for the Diocesan Youth Conference this coming March! We are aiming for a girl's room, two boys rooms, and two chaperone rooms.

$8,000.00-Will cover every spot for a teen and chaperone to attend the Middle School Life Teen Camp Hidden Lake and the High School Life Teen Camp Cove Crest. These camps are run by Life Teen, the Catholic curriculum we use to teach youth ministry in our parish. These camps are held every summer, and offer opportunities for Daily Mass, talks, small groups lead by Life Teen Missionaries, as well as Lake Time, Mud Games, and so much more!

If we can raise more than $10,000.00, any additional funds will help cover:

-$100.00 Will cover one middle schooler or high schooler attending upcoming retreats. This money will go into a scholarship fund to help pay for teens to participate in retreats who may not be able to afford it.

-$50.00 Will cover a new bean bag chair and/or furniture to make our youth space youth friendly!
