St. Andrew the Apostle School

For over seventy years, St. Andrew the Apostle School has dedicated itself to educating the hearts and minds of children in Algiers and surrounding areas of the Westbank.

This year we are raising money for the St. Andrew the Apostle School Foundation that was established in 1988 with the goal of creating a $1 million endowment to subsidize teacher salaries, keep tuition affordable, and provide tuition assistance to families in need.  With the help of many generous supporters, the initial goal of the St. Andrew the Apostle Foundation was reached in less than 20 years. 

We are seeking to keep the St. Andrew the Apostle Foundation over $1 million to continue to support our teachers, keep our tuition rate affordable, and continue to offer tuition assistance to families in our community. With the support of our parish, school, and community families and friends, we know this goal is achievable.

St. Andrew the Apostle School continues to be a powerful, positive influence in our neighborhood. Last year, $25,000.00 was given in financial support for tuition assistance, and all teacher salaries were increased by 3% and $40,000.00 was given in retention bonuses at the beginning of the 2025 school year.
