Spirit Catholic Radio — A Faith That Meets You Where You Are

Spirit Catholic Radio is a listener-supported Catholic radio network based in Omaha, sharing the message of Jesus Christ across Nebraska, Western Iowa, and far beyond through FM radio and global streaming. Founded in 1999 by everyday Catholics who believed faith should be accessible, honest, and lived out loud, Spirit Catholic Radio has grown into a statewide network reaching more than 1.4 million people—meeting listeners right where they are, in real life.

Our programming blends trusted Catholic voices with local shows, prayer, and live coverage of events that matter, offering encouragement, clarity, and hope in a world that can feel loud and overwhelming. For many young adults, Spirit Catholic Radio is a steady companion—something to turn on during a commute, a workout, or a tough day—reminding them they’re not alone and that faith still has a place in modern life.

Funded entirely by donors and independent of diocesan support, Spirit Catholic Radio exists because people believe the Gospel is worth sharing freely. Inspired by St. John Paul II’s call to the New Evangelization, we’re committed to carrying the faith forward—creating space for the next generation to encounter Christ, ask hard questions, and discover a faith rooted in truth, formed by the Church, and strong enough to be lived, shared, and passed on.
