St. John Catholic School invites you to help us grow our intervention and enrichment services by supporting our iGiveCatholic Campaign this December 2nd.  Our goal is to raise at least $7,500 to support the program for this year.  With this money, we will be able to cover some payroll expenses of our program and provide training resources for our staff, expanding enrichment inside and outside the classroom.  We pray that you join us in making St. John Catholic School the best educational experience for the greatest number of students!

This school year we have been able to benefit from one of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington’s Ministry and Mission Assistance Grants.  With the grant money, we were able to hire a math intervention teacher for this year. The grant also has funds for the purchase of some math aids and teaching materials.  Ms. K started with our program this August and has been such a wonderful addition to our staff.  We hope to build on this success in the coming years!

Our program is helping students at St. John Catholic School and we are so blessed to have Ms. Bilotta leading the way.  She goes out of her way to make sure that our program is truly making a difference in students’ lives.  Please help us support this amazing program!

Our Academic Achievement Program began about a decade ago with a desire by Ms. Bilotta and the staff to help the students at St. John Catholic School reach their potential.  In the early years, the program survived entirely on donations to support her salary and all the materials needed for the program!  In the intervening years, the program and its expenses have become part of the budgeted operational costs of the school and were supplemented with generous donations and a few strategic grants.

To continue to reach our current student population it is imperative that we can add resources and funding to achieve our goals.  St. John Catholic School has always been a leader in Scott County when it comes to student achievement, high school readiness, and building the leaders of tomorrow.  Those student leaders are taught to live out their faith and seek to serve others.   Please join us as we work to build God’s Kingdom!
