St. Charles Borromeo Church (St. Charles Community)

After 4 1/2 years, we’re blessed to finally be approaching the celebration of our first Mass back in our home church! As you might've heard, some improvements were decided upon to upgrade a few items that we had before Hurricane Ida decimated our church. One of the items we wanted to feature for this #iGiveCatholic campaign is an electric candle station. New codes would have required special fire-retardant requirements be added to continue to have the old type of lit wax candles. The cost of restructuring and fortifying things to accommodate it was very cost prohibitive. As a result, a beautifully designed electric model was sought out and decided upon and will be purchased with the funds generated here. Therefore, our goal is $13,000.
