New Organ and Church Improvements

Giving Tuesday on December 2nd!

We are excited this year to embark on a campaign for a new organ and other church improvements at the SEAS campus. Always marked as the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, the nationwide Giving Tuesday is celebrating it's 10th year as a day of giving for charities and organizations in need. With iGiveCatholic your donation goes specifically to our cause here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. 

Advanced giving opened on Monday, November 17th. Simple log onto igivecatholic.org, find your parish and donate $10 or more. 

Do we need a new organ?  The organ at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is the original organ purchased nearly 35 years ago. Despite our on-going efforts to maintain this organ, parts are becoming nonreplaceable and a new digital organ is needed. Our organ has been here over 30 years, which is surpassing its life expectancy. 

How much does a new organ cost?  We have secured several bids from various organ companies and after consultation with the finance committee have selected the best option for our church. This will include a new digital organ along with a customized speaker sound system tailor made for our church. Due to additional installation costs and upgrades that may occur, the exact cost has yet to be determined. With your help, we hope to raise over $200,000.

What if we raise more than our goal?  Due to very generous donations, we are at our goal and still climbing! With a new organ to help restore beautiful music in our church it is only fitting that we take pride in upgrading other aspects throughout our church and campus. There are many beautification projects and improvements needed throughout our school and church buildings that can be addressed as we take on this project. As always, any expenditures are researched and approved through our parish Operations Director and Finance Committee.

When will we get the new organ? Since this organ is being designed specifically to fit our worship space, it is custom made and is a lengthy process. We are hoping it will be in place by the end of 2026.

How can I donate?  You can donate several ways, in whatever amount you like. This can be done electronically here at iGiveCatholic.com. You may also drop your donation by the office at any time, Monday through Friday between 8:00-4:00. Envelopes for iGiveCatholic donations will also be available in the pews and can be placed in the collection baskets. 

When can I make a donation?  Giving Tuesday is on December 2, 2025. However, advanced giving is now available. Donations can be take through December 9th. 

Is this tax deductible?  Yes, when you make a donation you will receive a follow up email from iGiveCatholic to be used for your tax records like any other charitable donation.
