St. Gabriel the Archangel

At St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Parish and School our spirit soars, but our cars - not so much! Our lot has had a lot of wear and tear as a result of two brutal icy winters. Ice is more detrimental than snow. Salt, snow removal and heavy plow equipment have damaged the sealant in our parking lot. We have many potholes and rough spots. 

We do not currently have budgeted funds to grade and reseal the lot, but we’d like to do so next summer right after our festival.  We also expect other priorities to take precedence in next budget year, including the completion of our epoxy floor replacement in the school and an entire HVAC system in the Multi-purpose Building. Your contribution can help make that happen. The estimate is $57,000 to repave and seal the lot, along with filling potholes and striping parking spaces and moving handicapped spots this summer,

Let’s make our next ride to and from campus even smoother. And let’s get those parking spaces repainted and clearly marked. With over 398 cars driving through our campus every weekday morning and afternoon for school carpool, along with over 600 cars each weekend for Mass, we want to ensure our campus is even safer from trips, slips and fall hazards.

A shoutout to our seventh and eighth grade students within the STEM/Digital Media elective class led by Ms. Nevada Quire who have created clever - sometimes comical - campaign videos to build awareness of this effort.
