St. John's: Omaha's Jesuit
Parish

St. John's is Omaha's Jesuit parish. As a work of
the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and a parish of the Archdiocese, we practice
radical hospitality and a commitment to those on the margins. We have a
wonderful relationship with Creighton University, and are located right on
their campus, but we are not a university chapel. 

We
have been a parish of the Archdiocese since 1897 and continue to be an important
landing place for many Catholics, not only those with a CU affiliation. Visit
us for Sunday Mass; Saturday 5pm (anticipatory), Sunday 8am and 10:30am. 

You
are welcome here, just as you are. From beautiful liturgy and music, to care
of creation, to religious education for children and formation for adults,
to advocating for justice, to community building among parishioners of all
ages, there is a way for you to build connections and be nourished in your
discipleship. 

This parish is not a place where "you"
help "us" with a mission, but where we all seek to live our Christian
call together. We hope everyone finds a place at the table,
opportunities to live mission together, and programs that nourish us for the
journey.

St. John's is a Catholic Ignatian community
committed to welcoming all, celebrating Eucharist, and empowering
all to serve for the greater honor and glory of God.
