This Giving Tuesday, St. Luke Catholic Church is asking for your help to raise **$3,000.00** for two essential needs that will improve the safety of our parish. Installation of new wiring for lights at the entrance of both the church and the community center.  This update will illuminate the areas for the safety and appearances of the buildings.

 We need your support to reach our total goal of **$3,000.00**. Every gift, no matter the size, will bring us closer to achieving these necessary improvements for our parish.

Who We Are

St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church was established in 1923. St. Luke, the only predominately African-American Catholic Church in Thibodaux was closed from 1967-1985 and re-established in the fall of 1985. Today, St. Luke is a vital, growing faith community working to address the poverty and illiteracy readily seen in our communities. St. Luke's mission is forming disciples, evangelizing and serving the African-American community and others.
