ST MARGARET, QUEEN OF SCOTLAND

St. Margaret, Queen of Scotland Catholic Church and St. Thomas the Apostle Chapel provide a welcoming atmosphere and place of worship. While St. Margaret Church received a beautiful renovation several years back, St. Thomas Chapel was in need of many updates. Finally…the end is near!

 Because of rising inflation costs, the total renovation project increased to $1,430,121.  Over the last several years, our fundraising efforts have raised over $899,000, which was enough to secure a $400,000 loan from the Diocese of Baton Rouge.  However, we are still short a few dollars.

 In order to pay our vendors, we will need to borrow an additional $50,000 from the Diocese.  Hoping to avoid this, we are making a final plea to prayerfully consider making a donation and help our community continue to grow.

 The St. Thomas renovation was made possible because of the generosity of our parishioners.  We thank you and invite you to the dedication of the St. Thomas Chapel on November 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.  We hope to see you then!
