Support the Next Generation of Faithful Leaders!

This #GivingTuesday (December 2), we’re setting out to raise $10,000 to help our youth attend Catholic conferences and retreats—transformative experiences that strengthen faith, build community, and inspire lifelong discipleship.

Our St. Mark Youth Group,

serves students in grades 6–12, guiding them to deepen their relationship with Christ, form uplifting friendships, and grow as young leaders within and beyond our parish community.

Catholic Youth events provide a powerful setting for this growth—bringing together thousands of teens for dynamic worship, inspiring talks, and meaningful small group encounters. These experiences help young people encounter Christ in a personal way and realize that faith is alive, relevant, and deeply joyful. One way to accomplish this is to give the experience of meeting their peers and listening to other adults outside of their comfort zone.

Unfortunately, many families struggle with the cost of these events. Your gift this #GivingTuesday will directly reduce financial barriers and ensure that every young person who wishes to attend can do so.

Your impact:

$20 - $50 helps cover local transportation costs
$50 - $150 provides a partial retreat scholarship
$150 - $250 sponsors registration fee for diocesan youth events
$250 - $500 sponsors a student’s out-of-state conference experience

Catholic youth events are more than just a few action-packed days. They are vibrant communities where students from diverse backgrounds come together to explore their faith and deepen their relationships. Youth events often feature dynamic speakers, engaging worship sessions, and thought-provoking workshops designed to challenge and inspire attendees.

One of the most powerful aspects of these events is the sense of belonging they cultivate. Many young people find difficulty in navigating the challenges of adolescence. Therefore, finding a supportive community where they can express their beliefs authentically is one of the most transformative experiences. Discussions, small group conversations, and shared experiences of worship all contribute to the environment of growth for these students. Youth events grow this environment to create a safe space for students to deepen their spirituality and forge lasting friendships.
