St. Mary German Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, more commonly known as "St. Mary’s Downtown," has been a cornerstone of the Catholic faith in Downtown Memphis for more than a century and a half. For over 155 years St. Mary’s has fed people’s spiritual needs through Word and Sacrament and their physical needs through our soup kitchen; the longest continuously running soup kitchen in the United States. But we need your help in keeping the light of Christ shining bright in our city. Our church and soup kitchen are in need of maintenance to continue to show forth God's grace and majesty and to continue to serve our community.
