ST. MARY MOTHER OF MERCY CATHOLIC CHURCH
St. Mary Mother of Mercy is a vibrant Catholic parish, serving the people of God in Macclenny since 1960.
The construction of the current church building in 1996, enabled us to use the original church as our Parish Hall where we gather for fellowship after Holy Mass, and for other events and receptions.
Inspired by the generosity of the people of God to our #iGiveCatholic 2023 appeal last year, our goal for #iGiveCatholic 2024 is to raise $38,000 to replace the asphalt shingle roof of our Parish Hall with a Metal Roof. Though it is slated for replacement as part of the total renovation of the Parish Hall, the risks associated with waiting for the completion of the Capital Campaign continue to grow.
Therefore, I humbly appeal to your generosity and request you to contribute whatever amount the LORD inspires you to give toward this goal. As you know, no amount is too small! We have applied to the Diocesan Risk Reduction grant program for funds. The Diocese might give us a portion of the $38,000 that we need to raise.
Your generous gifts will enable us to accelerate the replacement of the roof.
