Building Our Church for the Future

 This Giving Tuesday, our goal is to continue to build the St Michael Catholic Church Endowment Fund. 

Secure our parish community’s financial well-being now and in the future through donations to the endowment fund.  

Gifts to our endowment fund are protected and never spent.  As the market grows over time, gifts to our fund grow and produce earnings that can be used in the parish.  The fund is intended to last forever. 

No gift is too small or too large. Every gift counts and adds up when combined with everyone else’s gifts.

Who We Are

St. Michael Catholic Church is located in Gainesville, GA. We are a diverse truly Catholic (Universal) Community celebrating Masses in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

The first Catholic Mass was celebrated in Gainesville right after the turn of the 20th Century around 1910 with the Mass being celebrated in the basement of General James Longstreet when a traveling priest was available here in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains.

St. Michael was made a mission in the mid 1930's and we have been at our current location since 1975.

Our Pastor Father Tim Hepburn inspires and challenges us with our motto, "Receive Christ, Live as Disciples"
