New Sound System in the Church

We are excited to announce that the sound system in the Church has been fully renovated, as updates to our 20+ year old system was greatly needed. We look forward to having a better quality sound throughout the Church going forward.

All donations during this year's Nebraska Catholic Day of Giving event (April 20-May 13) will go towards covering the cost of this new sound system. We thank you for your generosity, support, and stewardship!

Break Down of Cost

New Loudspeakers

There are 6 new speakers to cover all areas of the Church. These speakers cost: $99,457.

Processing and System Control

We have upgraded to a digital control system and touch panel that creates an easier user-friendly experience. Updating the controls cost: $40,701.

Microphones

There are new mics at the ambo and in the choir to help prevent future popping noises. The new mics and equipment cost: $6,373.

Assistive Listening System

We have updated our Assistive Listening System (ALS) to now have a Bluetooth option compatible with newer phones and even hearing aids. The ALS system cost: $6,236.

Total Cost

The total cost of the new sound system in the Church comes to $152,767.
