St. Peter Chanel School

St. Peter Chanel School opened in 1935.  Over the years, the school has provided a Catholic atmosphere and education to many families.  

Schools have unique needs and challenges when it comes to safety and security. These factors can impact a school’s ability to carry out its obligations to provide a safe, secure environment for teachers and staff, and a supportive learning environment for students.

Over the past couple of years, we have begun to install security cameras and electronic door locks around campus. These devices have put a strain on the network teachers and students are using for educational purposes. Due to network constraints, our security upgrades are currently at a standstill. 

St. Peter Chanel School is asking for your help in raising funds to install a network dedicated specifically to phones, security cameras, fire alarms, and electronic door locks. In addition to the network, additional security cameras, exterior door intercoms, electronic door locks, and an updated phone system are also needed.

With your help, we can provide the students, faculty and staff a safe, secure environment. By reaching our goal of $50,000, we hope to complete this installation before the 2025-26 school year. Thank you for your consideration!

Who We Are

St. Peter Chanel School was established in 1935. The school has been providing catholic education in St. James Parish for 80 years. The mission is to provide a Christ-centered curriculum that enables our young people to integrate the teachings of their Catholic-Christian faith into every aspect of their lives.
