Saint Joseph Church, Rayne

Thank you for visiting our #iGiveCatholic Giving Day page!  The goal of this day is to rally our Catholic community to raise funds to support the ministry of St. Joseph Parish.  The theme of our goal this year is: "Save the Rectory: Preserving our Past, Protecting our Future."

For more than a century, the rectory at St. Joseph's Church has stood as a symbol of faith, service, and hospitality in our community.  Built in 1894, this historic home has welcomed generations of priests, hosted countless parish gatherings, and quietly served as the heart of parish life - a place where prayers are lifted up, homilies are prepared and neighbors find comfort and counsel.

But time and weather have taken their toll.  The rectory's aging siding can no longer protect the structure from the elements.  Cracking, peeling, and moisture damage now threaten the very walls that have sheltered our shepherds for 130 years.  To ensure this cherished home continues to serve the Church for years to come, we need your help!

Our goal this iGiveCatholic season is to raise $42,000 to install new, durable siding that will safeguard the rectory and preserve its historic beauty.  Every gift brings us one step closer to saving this vital part of our parish's story.
