Hospitality in Action: Welcoming All, Building Community

Dear Parish Family,

As we prepare to celebrate #iGiveCatholic, I invite you to join us in supporting a ministry that is at the heart of who we are as a parish: our Hospitality Ministry.

Hospitality is more than welcoming people through our doors. It is about creating a parish community where every person feels seen, valued, and truly at home. Through our Hospitality Ministry, we have the opportunity to welcome new parishioners, strengthen fellowship among our parish family, support parish gatherings and events, and create meaningful opportunities for people to connect with one another and with Christ.

This ministry helps us live out the words of Jesus: “For I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25:35)

This #iGiveCatholic, we are raising funds to strengthen and expand our Hospitality Ministry. Your generosity will help provide the resources needed to host parish gatherings, welcome new members, support fellowship opportunities, and create an inviting environment where relationships and faith can grow.

Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. When we give together, we are investing not simply in events or programs, but in people and community. We are helping create a parish where everyone knows there is a place for them.

I prayerfully ask you to consider making a gift to our #iGiveCatholic campaign. Most importantly, I ask that you pray for our parish, our Hospitality Ministries, and all those who help make our parish a welcoming home for others.

Thank you for your generosity, your faith, and your commitment to our parish family. May God bless you abundantly for the ways you continue to share your time, talent, and treasure.

In the Sacred Heart of Jesus,

Father Tri John-Bosco Nguyen
Rector and Pastor

Padre Tri John-Bosco Nguyen

Atlanta's Basilica-Our Legacy and Vision

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus stands as a beacon of history and faith in Atlanta, with roots tracing back to the late 19th century. As one of the city's oldest and most revered landmarks, it has witnessed countless transformations while remaining a steadfast symbol of community and spirituality. Formed by Word and Sacrament, we are a community of disciples sent forth to bring the light of Christ into the heart of our city, to renew our parish and our world. We commit to strengthening family life, deepening prayer, and building a community where faith becomes action. We envision a parish rooted in prayer and the Eucharist, that invites all to a deeper encounter with Christ, who renew hearts, homes, and community.
