Thank you for joining us for our 2025 #iGiveCatholic giving day!  With grateful hearts for all God has given, we invite you to share your gifts as St. Monica Catholic Church continues our faith journey with Fr. Faublas and our twinning parish, Sacre Coeur in Hinche, Haiti.  Your prayerful donations bear fruit through Sacre Couer's liturgies and sacraments, the Whitney clinic in ongoing medical care, food distribution to the poorest in need, and the hope to fill the urgent need for reliable transportation.   

 

Who We Are

Our twin parish of Sacre Coeur in Hinche, Haiti, was founded twenty-seven years ago. What began as a small mission church, built with love and faith, has flourished into a beacon of hope for an entire community. Today, Sacre Coeur provides a fully functioning medical clinic, a food program, a water purification system, and a beautiful parish church complete with an event hall and rectory and all has become possible because of your generosity and prayers. The entire compound now serves as a refuge and resource for the people of Hinche.

To reflect on how this humble parish has grown into a thriving community center—offering shelter, healing, and faith to thousands—fills the heart with awe. Through chaos, violence, political unrest, and natural disasters, Sacre Coeur has endured. This endurance is nothing less than the work of the Holy Spirit, whose constant protection has surrounded the parishioners, patients, and countless, selfless volunteers who have given their time, talents, and treasure.

Your generosity has sustained these works of mercy for years, and now, more than ever, we are called to continue. It is our commitment and our sacred duty as Catholics—to be the hands and feet of Christ, serving the poorest of the poor.

As we join together for this year’s #iGiveCatholic Giving Day let us also share Sacre Coeur's urgent need for a vehicle for delivering food, transporting the sick, and enabling Father to bring the sacraments into the wider community.
