Introducing The Light Project's New Home: The Cottage! This year, The Light Project moved into The Cottage, a former hardware and tractor supply store that once provided physical nourishment to the Carencro, LA, community. Now, through your generosity, this humble space is being transformed into a warm, welcoming home for spiritual nourishment  — a place of hospitality and intentional moments of prayer, creativity, and faith renewal. Every room in The Cottage is meant to feel like home—a place you can "kick off your shoes" and simply won’t want to leave.

We are inviting you to help "Light Up The Cottage" by furnishing and equipping each room so it can become a true home for ministry. Every room has a purpose. Every corner has a story. And every dollar helps turn empty spaces into places of encounter.

Why We’re Raising $30,000

The Cottage will serve as a spiritual home for our community — a place for prayer gatherings, small groups and Bible studies, day retreats, and Enlightened Nights. It will also be the home of Holy Spirit Studios for podcasting, a gathering space for community meals and fellowship, and a quiet place to fill our cups with the Lord so we can go back out and serve.

This is more than furnishing a building — it’s creating a sacred space for God to move and for people to draw closer to the Church.
