St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center

St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center, a.k.a. undCatholic, is the Catholic Church on the campus of the University of North Dakota (UND).

Did you know that of UND’s 16,000 students, an estimated 20% were raised Catholic? That’s around 3,200 Catholic college students that the Newman Center is called to serve. Currently, only 400 to 450 students are actively involved, just 9% of the Catholic students. We must continue to reach more of them!

Bible studies play a big role in helping us to reach both Catholics and non-Catholics alike on campus.  They are led by our FOCUS missionaries and student leaders here at Newman and around campus.  This year we already have 38 Bible studies scheduled, with anywhere from a few people to over 15 in each.  Many of these Bible studies take place here at Newman in our various spaces in the evenings.  It's a great place for students to come in order to study the Scriptures better and grow in their relationship with Jesus, Thee Word of God!
