University of Lynchburg & Liberty University Catholic Campus Ministry

Catholic Campus Ministry at University of Lynchburg and Liberty University provides community, fellowship, and opportunities to grow in faith for students. We have different activities weekly and monthly. 

Students meet weekly for Bible Study and Mens and Women's Groups all led by students. 

We have a weekly dinner and a lunch for students after Mass on Sundays. 

This year we started New to LU student groups for men and women to foster our new to campus community and a monthly Catholic Community Group that meets after LU's Wednesday Campus Community gathering. 

We have stared a monthly speaker series, inviting people to speak to students once a month. 

We have a new program called Mass, Meal, and Mission that is monthly at Saint Thomas More. Students attend the 8:30am Mass in Latin then meet for bagels and fellowship and then do 2 hours of service work for the parish. 

We are so pleased to offer OCIA on campus and have a curriculum  for walking students into the Church. All are welcome to attend and our fellow students serve as sponsors. 

Monthly we set up social events like hikes, baking nights, and tabling. We also have Friendsgiving and our end of semester Christmas party.
