Villa Marie Home & School for Exceptional Children was founded in 1964 by the late, Msgr. James D. Dawson and has been shepherded by the Marian Sisters since its inception.  Many of our students are on the Autism Spectrum, are Downs Syndrome or have other neurological challenges that make learning difficult.  Our students thrive in an environment where their needs are individually met and developed at the student's pace.  Students develop confidence, feel accepted and build enduring relationships and friendships.

"Villa Marie will give these kids the best chance for success in life." Mary Seaman, Elle's mom

“When a child who has a tough
time accepting touch by other people, asks for a hug; or when a child who was
non-verbal when they started begins to speak in sentences and is
conversational, humorous and laughs as he tells a joke--it is nothing short of
a miracle. God shows up in big ways in the transformation of the students at
Villa Marie.”

~Sr. Jeanette Rerucha,
Principal
