Our Story: Winthrop Newman Catholic Community (https://winthropnewman.wixsite.com/newman) is the official Catholic Campus Ministry at Winthrop University. Supported by both the Diocese of Charleston and The Rock Hill Oratory, students at Winthrop have a unique experience of God while studying at a small, public university in South Carolina.
We plan to use the money raised from this year's #iGiveCatholic campaign to do the following: provide students with food at weekly meetings and after Mass. We will also use it for our Oratory retreat in February and our day retreat to Belmont Abbey College in April.
