Testimonials

Shortly after enrolling in Xavier University, I was blessed with the news that I would have a son. I started working part-time to earn money to care for my child, while trying to maintain my study habits. Unfortunately, I started failing and repeating my classes, and my GPA suffered terribly. A few months later my main support system, my mother, passed away. It felt like life had stopped; and I had no ambition to focus on school, work, or life. I continued to pray for strength and guidance. I was extremely happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected to receive assistance that Xavier has in place for students whose college completion is threatened by financial circumstances.
