Jaida Payne Memorial Fund:  

Jaida Payne was an inspiring member of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Class of 2025 cohort, known for her unwavering advocacy for herself and her classmates. Her vibrant energy, positivity, and can-do attitude made her a true ray of sunshine in the lives of everyone she touched. 

Tragically, on January 5, 2023, we lost Jaida far too soon, leaving a void in our hearts and community. Though she is no longer with us, her impact continues to be felt in profound ways. Jaida’s ability to brighten a room and lift the spirits of those around her remains a cherished memory that will last a lifetime. Her Gannon Family will forever hold her close, celebrating the incredible legacy she left behind. 

In honor of Jaida’s memory and her enduring spirit, students, alumni, faculty, staff, and parents have united to establish the Jaida Payne Memorial Fund. This meaningful fund supports graduating students from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Ruskin, Florida, ensuring Jaida's passion for learning, her advocacy for others, and her commitment to excellence lives on. The fund helps mitigate the financial burden associated with the national exam required to achieve licensure as a physical therapist. Your gift will help establish an endowment so this fund can remain a tribute to Jaida and a testament to the profound love and admiration she inspired in all who had the opportunity to know her.
