Planting Seeds of Faith: Our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium Begins

This school year, All Saints Catholic School joyfully began our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) program—a beautiful, hands-on approach to nurturing the faith of our youngest learners. Rooted in Scripture and the liturgy, CGS invites children to encounter the love of the Good Shepherd in a peaceful, prayerful space called the Atrium. Within this sacred environment, children grow in wonder and understanding of God’s presence through simple materials that reflect the beauty of our Catholic faith.

We are blessed to have a designated Catechesis teacher on staff who is currently undergoing Level I Catechist Formation, preparing her to guide our students through these meaningful experiences of faith. As our Atrium takes shape, we are reminded that this work truly mirrors the life of the Church—built lovingly by many hands and hearts coming together.

To help us continue building our Atrium, we are in need of support with materials such as child-sized liturgical items, Scripture figures, prayer tables, and hand-crafted works that allow children to explore and respond to God’s Word. Every contribution—whether through donations, craftsmanship, or prayer—helps us deepen the spiritual formation of our students.

As we continue to grow this sacred space, we invite our community to join us in this beautiful mission of forming young hearts to know and love the Good Shepherd.
