Founded in 1867, St. Mary Catholic School is the oldest Catholic elementary school in Alabama—and still one of its most vibrant. Located in the heart of Mobile’s historic district, we serve students from preschool through 8th grade in a diverse, faith-filled community where every child is known, loved, and encouraged to become who God created them to be.

We believe in forming the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Our approach combines academic excellence with a deep commitment to faith, character, and community. From joyful preschool classrooms to middle school leadership roles, our students are nurtured to grow in confidence, kindness, and purpose.
