At St. Mary’s Catholic School, we’ve been forming hearts, minds, and character since 1867—making us the oldest Catholic elementary school in Alabama. That legacy is a gift—and one we honor by ensuring every corner of our campus reflects the excellence and care we promise our students.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re launching Spaces That Shine, a campaign to raise $20,000 for student-centered improvements that brighten daily life at St. Mary’s. Your gift will help us:
Revitalize our Middle School Hallway with fresh flooring, paint, lighting, and lockers—restoring pride in one of our most visible and well-traveled student spaces.
Upgrade student water fountains in the 3rd–5th hallway—so kids stay refreshed, healthy, and ready to learn.
Install an electronic bulletin board in the parking lot—keeping families and visitors informed, engaged, and connected.
Refresh our most-used boys’ restroom—enhancing dignity and comfort in a shared space used daily by students and guests alike.
