At St. Rose of Lima Mt. Vernon, our children bring so much joy and life to our parish community. With over 130 youth involved in our programs, we see how important it is for them to have a safe and welcoming place to grow, learn, and play.
Right now, the only playground equipment on our parish grounds is a merry-go-round and a swing set, both more than 50 years old. While they hold many memories, they no longer provide the safe, engaging space our children need and deserve. That’s why we’re raising funds for a safe, fun, and lasting place for our children to play today, and for generations to come.
