As we approach Giving Tuesday, I invite you to consider supporting an organization that has touched my life in a profound and lasting way — the American Federation of Pueri Cantores.

I’ve had the privilege of serving on the AFPC Board of Directors for many years, but my connection with Pueri Cantores began long before that. As a young Chicagoan in 1960, I traveled to Rome with my high school choir to represent the American Federation at the very first International Congress of Pueri Cantores. That extraordinary experience — standing among thousands of young voices lifted in sacred song — helped shape the course of my life and played a meaningful role in my call to the priesthood.

Pueri Cantores continues to inspire and transform young lives today. Through sacred music, it helps choristers deepen their faith, connect more closely with the Church, and experience the beauty of worship in a truly special way. Every festival and rehearsal is a moment of grace — where faith, music, and community come together to create something lasting in the hearts of these young singers and their families.
