Your Impact - Help Young Voices Rise in Faith. Support Sacred Music. Inspire Faith. Shape the Future.
Your support reaches far beyond a single event or experience—it helps form the hearts, minds, and faith of the next generation of the Church. Together, we can promote educational and musical enrichment for students, steward a spirit of liturgical appreciation, and keep our future Catholic leaders engaged in their faith for years to come. Your support will ensure that children and educators across the area have access to our resources and the opportunity to participate in our unique and meaningful events, which unite and inspire young Catholics and their families and communities across the country.
Your gift will:
Support the expansion and strengthening of regional choral festivals across the U.S.
Fund participation scholarships for students from underserved communities
Help reignite faith in the hearts of young people through sacred music
Provide exceptional music resources and training for Catholic school music educators and parish worship leaders
Support critical operational needs that keep our mission strong
Every donation—large or small—helps give students a voice to praise God and grow in their Catholic faith.
Help us nurture the next generation of faithful voices!
Who We Are
Pope John Paul II once called Pueri Cantores singers “little messengers of beauty,” affirming the vital role of children and youth choristers in bringing hearts closer to God.
Pueri Cantores, meaning “young singers,” is the American branch of the International Federation of Pueri Cantores, an international Catholic choral organization and world-wide movement that provides engaging opportunities and programs for Catholic School and parish youth choirs from all backgrounds to learn and sing historical and contemporary sacred music set within the rich tradition of the Catholic Church. The mission of Pueri Cantores is to enrich the lives of young people and introduce them to the power and beauty of sacred music.
The American Federation of Pueri Cantores (AFPC) is a vibrant, growing organization reaching over 3,000 children annually through eighteen Festival Masses organized in different cities across the country. These events bring together several hundred young students from different dioceses, schools, and parishes, who, under the direction of a nationally recognized Catholic choral director, rehearse and perform sacred liturgical music together. These festivals provide a unique opportunity to educate and engage these young singers in their faith and in the arts, and through them, enrich the lives of their families and communities. Check out our 2026 Festival Schedule at https://www.pcchoirs.org/2026-pueri-cantores-festival-season.
We are committed to:
•strengthening spiritual growth and wellbeing of young people. "Singing has strengthened my faith because it's a great way to praise the Lord in a whole-hearted and unique way... it gives me a chance to express myself in such a creative, artistic, and lovely way."- Samantha, age 13
•elevating music education and choral excellence. “I'm learning music that I wouldn't be exposed to any other way. The lessons that I learn from the conductors of the festivals have stayed with me and they continue to help me on a daily basis when I am a cantor or singing in the choir.” Austin, age 17
•keeping youth engaged in the Catholic faith. “Music has encouraged me to go to Mass more often. Singing during Mass is more fun.” -Michael, age 10
•promoting leadership and academic enrichment in our schools. “Singing in the choir has made me a better leader and given me goals to reach. It also teaches me discipline and to focus better in all areas of my life.” KoKo, age 15
•fostering inclusion, friendship, and community. "I like to take part in choir because I like being a part of a bigger whole and singing with friends. I feel more connected to my church and school.” - Kendra, age 12
