Hellerman/Esherick Family Fundraiser

 This year our family made a pretty dramatic change to our day to day lives. Emma began teaching religion at St. Martin De Porres Catholic School as an extension of the Parish Youth Ministry program. To make this change possible, Jane, Miriam, and Marigold are enrolled in the Montessori program at the school and are loving it! Solomon is a Montessori Baby in his sisters’ classroom when Emma is teaching (with the occasional baby carrier nap *while* Emma is teaching). Charlotte and Gloria are still homeschooling, bringing their work to campus. They are enjoying getting to do recess with their friends at the school, opportunities to tag along on STEM lessons and field trips, youth Bible Study evenings, and the chance to attend daily Mass with Emma and the upper grade students.  

 

Our family would not have made such a change if we did not passionately believe in and support the mission of this school, and we believe that this school deserves your support, however small, as well! Despite operating on a shoestring budget, St. Martins views each student and parent in their entirety as truly made in the image and likeness of God, and faculty and staff work incredibly hard towards bettering the lives of everyone who steps on campus practically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.  

 

While working tirelessly towards the needs of students and families, St. Martins has real needs itself and we believe that this is a cause worth supporting! Our children have loved the Montessori program at the school and we would love to see it expanded. The school is also in real need of upgraded security systems on campus.
