St. Bernard of Clairvaux Choristers – Scottsdale, AZ

In 2009 I was introduced to the American Federation of Pueri Cantores - the official youth choral organization of the Roman Catholic Church in the U.S.  Most everything I know about working with a children’s choir came from our membership and involvement in this organization. Pueri Cantores organizes regional choral festivals for young people in Catholic Schools and parishes throughout the country. Hundreds of kids have gone through my choral programs and have benefited from Pueri Cantores. We participate in the annual Phoenix Festival and I have traveled to Rome with the choir several times to participate in the International Congress of Pueri Cantores. Both of these events have become a cherished tradition for our choristers and their families.

Pueri Cantores plays a vital role in our choral program—it gives our young singers the opportunity to grow musically, spiritually, and as part of the larger Catholic community.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising funds to support the mission of the American Federation of Pueri Cantores—helping children across the country encounter God through the beauty of sacred music.
